Last year I put a deposit down an English cream golden retriever puppy and shortly after started my dog’s social media. That’s what all millennial dog moms do, right? After securing my username, I thought I knew exactly what I was doing because I had been on Instagram since 2012…little did I know I was doing it ALL wrong. 

I struggled to find adequate resources that walked me through the steps of how to start a dog instagram and run it successfully. The majority of the information was all outdated and no longer worked. I was overwhelmed with all the catchy headlines that promised me “get to 10K in 30 days” or “become an influencer overnight” with little substance in them. 

There was very little about the actual HOW of becoming a dog influencer as well. Most of the courses I found were for human influencers and did not address the dog instagram world that I have come to find out was very different from the human influencer world.
